Beautiful and unique vintage Swedish round glass platter/ bowl. Designed by Bengt Edenfalk. Made in Sweden by SKRUF Glass. A large platter / bowl with tree trunk molded pattern, bottom looks like a relief of a wooden tree trunk showing the concentric circles of the tree. Glass is thick and heavy. Nice Mid-Century Modern item
About the Designer
Bengt Edenfalk (1924–2016) was one of Sweden’s leading glass artists in the 20th century. He is most known for his art and utility glass for Skruf and Kosta Boda in the 1950s–1980s. Bengt’s artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design.
