A plywood shelving unit by Willem Lutjens för De Boer Gouda, with the characteristic curved ends of the shelves which has made this such a famous and now rare design. The piece was designed in 1953 and manufactured in the Netherlands. The shelving is formed from bent birch veneered ply and at the time of purchase would have been available in different variations which you could add to or remove to suit the space or your needs, the shelving is also easy to take apart. This may be a smaller section of a once larger set but it works very well as a smaller compact shelving unit. A very iconic design.
