Lovely and rare vintage pair of GRAFIKA Series Small Vase and Large Plate, black and white patterns of plants and geometric elements, earthenware. Models 120 & 2084 designed by Ingrid Atterberg and part of the series Grafika from 1951. Condition is excellent, no chips or cracks and minimal signs of wear as per photos, signed and stamped. Sold as a pair.

About the Designer

Ingrid Atterberg (1920–2008) designed many classics for the Swedish Upsala-Ekeby company in the 1940s to 1960s. One of the most well-known series is Grafika from 1951. It consists of 14 earthenware objects: bowls, dishes, small plates, and vases. They have gently swelling shapes and hand-painted black/white patterns of plants and geometric elements. The items are deep stamped on the lower side with UE, Sweden, Abg, and the model number. The series was manufactured until 1954
